The Urban Park Rangers celebrate the tradition of camping and we look forward to welcoming you. Join us for an unforgettable overnight camping adventure in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, home to the iconic Unisphere. Set up your tent, explore the park after dark, and enjoy an evening of campfire storytelling, s’mores, and more, all in the heart of Queens. No camping experience or equipment is required! Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned outdoor explorer, join us for a rare chance to sleep under the stars in one of New York City’s most beloved parks. Each participant will take home a brand-new sleeping bag. Participants will be selected by lottery. Lottery registration period opens Thursday September 10 at 10:00 a.m. and closes Sunday September 13 at 11:00 p.m. Please Note:You must register each member of your party for the lottery under the same Xplor Recreation account. Anyone who is not registered will not be permitted to attend.Selected participants will be notified via email on Monday September 14.
